We are located in South San Jose at 4115 Jacksol Drive, ZIP 95124. Families primarily come from Cambrian, Willow Glen, Almaden Valley, Los Gatos, and the 95120, 95124, 95125, 95130, and 95136 areas. Drop-off and pick-up windows are timed so commuters heading to downtown San Jose, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, or the 87 / 85 corridors arrive at work without rushing.
The preschool program serves children ages 2 through Pre-K (roughly 2 to 5 years old) across four classrooms organized by developmental stage: Pollywogs, Starfish, Octopus, and Dolphins. Younger siblings can begin in our infant and toddler program from 6 months. Pre-K students transition into a private Kindergarten option on the same campus if families want to keep their child with us through the elementary handoff.
We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The early start lets parents commuting from Almaden, Cambrian, and Willow Glen to downtown San Jose or the South Bay tech corridor get to work on time, and the 6:00 PM close gives a real buffer at the end of the day. Lunch and afternoon snack are included in tuition; families do not need to pack daily meals.
Tuition is shared during your tour because the right rate depends on your child’s schedule (full-day vs. partial), age group, and start date. What is included: full-day care 7 AM to 6 PM, daily performing arts (music, dance, theater), bilingual English-Spanish instruction, STEAM and outdoor learning blocks, and meals (lunch and afternoon snack). New families currently receive $1,000 off the third month of tuition.
Yes. Building Kidz is a licensed private preschool that accepts subsidies from Choices for Children, Go Kids, and other Santa Clara County childcare assistance programs. If you have a voucher or are applying for one, bring the paperwork to your tour and we will walk through how it applies to your tuition.
The curriculum blends performing arts (music, dance, and theater every day) with STEAM academics (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), bilingual English-Spanish language exposure, social-emotional learning, and outdoor play. Children practice public performance through seasonal productions, which builds the kind of confidence that parents tell us shows up at kindergarten and never leaves.
